Build and own the production infrastructure for JANUS, an AI-powered freight forwarding SaaS platform. You'll architect and manage our Kubernetes-based microservices infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% uptime for our growing customer base.
Must-Have Experience (Non-Negotiable)
Core Infrastructure - 5+ years required
- Kubernetes in Production: Built and managed production K8s clusters (not just used managed services)
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform expert - can write modules, manage state, design scalable infrastructure
- CI/CD: Designed and maintained production pipelines (GitLab CI, or similar)
- Linux System Administration: Deep understanding of Linux, networking, and security
Database Management - 3+ years required
- PostgreSQL: Replication, backups, performance tuning, high availability
- NoSQL: MongoDB or similar (clustering, sharding)
- Caching: Redis cluster management
- Production database incident response and optimization
Monitoring & Operations - 3+ years required
- Prometheus + Grafana: Full-stack implementation and dashboard creation
- Logging: ELK stack or similar (centralized logging, search, analysis)
- On-Call Experience: Production incident response, root cause analysis, post-mortems
- Performance Optimization: Capacity planning, resource optimization, cost reduction
